How to Remove Security Solution 2011

1. What is Security Solution 2011?

Security Solution 2011 is a fake anti-spyware program, that is installed on user's computer silently through Trojans, without prior user permission. Although application contains computer scanner and other anti-spyware software related functions it is not capable to remove any kind of malware. Security Solution 2011 is an infection itself, which does not contain "uninstall" function, nor can be removed using Add/Remove Programs tool.

Once the program has been installed, computer scan will be started, which will detect numerous threats. Those threats are random files, which has been installed together with Security Solution 2011 in order to show that some viruses have been found. All infections that have been found by Security Solution 2011 are not real and are presented in order to scare user and trick him into purchasing program license. Any attempt to remove found threats with Security Solution 2011 will result in prompts to register the program by purchasing the license.

Security Solution 2011 will display different fake security alerts and warnings that make user think that the computer is infected with various threats and needs attention. Fake alert messages that should be ignored:

Your system is making an unauthorized personal data transfer to a remote computer!
Warning! Unauthorized personal data transfer is detected! It may be your personal credit card details, logins and passwords, browsing habits or information about files you have downloaded.
To protect your private data, please click "Prevent Connection" button below.

Trying to run Windows programs like wordpad.exe, mspaint.exe, wmplayer.exe or browsers firefox.exe, opera.exe will fail. Instead Warning message that these programs have been infected will be displayed:

Security Solution 2011
The application mspaint.exe was launched successfully but it was forced to shut down due to security reasons. This application infected by a malicious software program which might present damage for the PC. It is highly recommended to make a full scan of your computer to exterminate the malicious programs from it.

3. How to remove Security Solution 2011:

  1. Internet connection might be disabled or Internet browser might be blocked by Security Solution 2011, so it won't be possible to download any files to infected computer. In this case please download all files required for Security Solution 2011 removal to another computer and then transfer them on the infected one using CD/DVD or USB flash drive.
  2. To remove Security Solution 2011 download Spyware Doctor and install the program (for the installation guide click here). Before installation, make sure all other programs and windows are closed.
  3. After the installation, computer scan should be started automatically. If so, please move to the next step. If not, click "Status" on the left side menu and press "Scan Now" button to run computer scanner as shown in the picture below:

  4. After the scan has been completed and scan results have been generated, press "Fix Checked" button to remove Security Solution 2011.

  5. Restart the computer to complete Security Solution 2011 removal procedure.
