1. Introduction

AntiSpyGuard is a fake application for the protection against spyware. The text on it's home page seems to be taken from PCTools software. AntiSpyGuard is not free program, offering protection against most recent and dangerous malware threats, but in fact it is not able to remove spyware threats even after the purchase has been done. Register reminder occasionally pops asking to make a payment: "Register Now! It is strongly recommended to remove detected spyware. Please click here to register AntiSpyGuard and eliminate these security threats".
Also known as Anti Spy Guard 2007.
